The My WebLink page enables you to modify your personal preferences when interacting with WebLink.

 

Browse Options

The Contents Pane can be configured to display additional information about each document or folder.

To modify the Contents Pane
1. Click My WebLink at the top right of the page and click Browse Options on the left.
2. Select General, Templates, Fields, or Records to specify the category of information you want to display or hide.
3. On the left, select the information you want to display and click the right arrow to display them.
4 On the right, select the information you want to hide and click the left arrow to hide them.

If you want to reset the columns to the default, click Restore Defaults.

Search Options

WebLink enables you to customize the columns displayed when search results are returned.

1. Click My WebLink at the top right of the page and click Search Options on the left.
Select General, Templates, Fields, and Records to specify the category of information you want to display or hide.

View Document Options

Click the My Public Portal link and click the View Document Options tab to specify how to view documents.

weblink view optionsIn the Open in the Laserfiche WebLink Document Viewer section, you can specify whether to open PDF files and other electronic document types in the Document Viewer. If you select this option and the electronic documents have image pages, the image pages will be displayed in the Document Viewer. If they do not, PDFs will display in the Document Viewer; other electronic files will display their metadata and text but not the file itself. If this option is cleared, the PDFs or other electronic document types will download, to be opened in their native application.

In the Audio and Video Options section, you can specify whether to Stream media files. If you select this option, audio and video files will be streamed directly to your browser when you open them. If you do not, they will be downloaded so that you can view them in your o
