One of our Laserfiche clients, Chad Dunkley, CEO of New Horizon Academy, was invited with a group of researchers, child care providers and representatives of business groups to attend a West Wing listening session in late February and they were asked about the challenges and were soliciting for ideas on the solutions.
His comments were quoted in an article by NPR. “I think there’s a growing bipartisan consensus that we have to do more to build the financial security of young families in this country,” said Dunkley. “They have to feel confident they can grow their families here, and if they don’t, our economy is going to be in trouble.”
The group was given early details of the childcare proposal from Ivanka Trump that is included in the president’s 2020 budget.
